After a lot of work, the new version of Road Maker is released today. Now you can have multiple roads and one intersection. New import instructions allow the terrain maps to be successfully used in Bryce 6 (which has some flaws in its picture import functions). The download zip contains the program file as well as a help file that contains a full picture tutorial on how to create the roads and use the maps in Bryce. Enjoy!

I tried out your program very interesting stuff just a few things you need to add to make the user interface easier to edit.
A zoom mode so you can zoom into the terrain image.
3d realtime preview while adding roads.
I work on a 1920x1200 screen it would be nice if your program could make use of large screen layouts. Maybe a selection in the menu or something.
Seeder 0 how about a randomiser with
symetrical settings.
xy x flip y with center crossing
that way a 2 sided terrain could be made for game terrains :0)
Also check out a program called g16ed it uses 16bit greyscale format to suit more modern games like ut3 engine that way allows 65536 shades of terrain
Use an export to 16bit grey for unreal in BMP format. You would prbably get a larger following with just that feature.
Another addition
why not add left and right height settings on each road dot that way you can tweak curve easily
I can throw tons of ideas at you but some of these would make this program simply tip top.

I absolutely LOVE your Shapemagic program and have been playing with it for hours! I have downloaded the road program but I haven't had a chance to play with it yet but I get the feeling that I will be playing with it too for a lot of hours.
